A commissioned sketch from Mid-0hio Con 2010 of DC’s Zatanna and Marvel’s X-23.

Part of the point of the commission was that the two characters don’t really fit together. The guy wanted two individual drawings, but then didn’t want to pay for two separate commissions so he got them both together. Then he was like, “well, they don’t really work together at all, but see if you can do something with that.”

So Adam laid out a picture of a very exasperated Zatanna and an uncharacteristically delighted X-23 who discovered that bunnies that come from hats just may be her favorite thing in the world. Silly? Certainly. But fun!

Adam did the final drawing for Zatanna, Comfort drew X-23 and the bunnies. Oh, the bunnies.
